## Astronomical Accuracy

Each Night Sky product is generated using precise astronomical data to recreate:
- **Exact star positioning** from the Hipparcos catalog
- **Constellation lines**
- **The Moon** (phase and position)

Star maps do not show planets, and constellation names are not printed on the map. The names are in the **Constellation Legend eBook** included with every order, which labels and explains the constellations on your map.

Based on specific date, time, and geographic coordinates.

**Data Source:** Our star catalog comes from the **European Space Agency's Hipparcos mission** — a high-precision catalog generated from over three years of observations by the Hipparcos space-based telescope.
